- Ever ours -

2017. So there I was.

Suddenly faced with the hardest decision of my life: Leave everything I’ve ever known and the people that I love, and move to North Carolina, or, watch the best man I’ve ever met fly out of my life.

What can I say, I believe in love and we’re living happily together in North Carolina.

To me, photography is the best job in the world. One of my favorite Quotes is by Ludwig van Beethoven:

"Ever Thine.

Ever Mine.

Ever Ours."

I am happy to photograph two souls committed to the promise of forever and to spend the rest of their lives together.

Here are their stories:

ABOUT désirée

DesirePhotography stands for high quality and professional wedding photography in North Carolina, nationwide and worldwide.

Hi, my name is Désirée. I’m a professional photographer, with the backing of more than 10 years’ experience. I’m here to help you celebrate your most important moments in life. I have traveled far to capture love (nationwide but also England, Germany and Portugal). I am mainly documenting weddings in Raleigh, Durham, Southern Pines, Chapel Hill and across North Carolina. My photographic style is elegant, romantic, fun, editorial and artistic. My wedding photography is rooted in wedding photojournalism, portraits influenced by a sense of fashion as well as love for details. I always capture feelings, emotions and moments full  of happiness and pure love. What matters most to you, matters most to me.

I` m embracing all of life’s special moments and I am silly in love with my soulmate. We love to have fun together and we enjoy great food or going to the theater. I love fashion but I am also comfortable in yoga pants or a flannel shirt. I am born and raised in Germany but I have also lived in the Netherlands, in Canada, and now, permanently, in North Carolina.
